Carolyn Laredo is a dedicated, legal professional who strives tirelessly to minimize the emotional and financial stresses of her clients. She is a founding Partner of Laredo & Jaffe Mediation Group, LLC located in the County of Rockland and handles collaborative law cases in Westchester and New York City as well. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree, JD from Brooklyn Law School and she is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. Her outstanding successes have gained her recognition in International Who\'s Who of Entrepreneurs. She is a Consultant member of the Association of Conflict Resolution and a certified member of the New York State Unified Court System.

For the \"Journal of Professional Legal Education\", she authored, \"Meeting the Needs of Client Dissatisfaction\", where she cited the growing trend of client dissatisfaction with attorneys not meeting the needs of their clients. Here she explored attorneys\' lack of \'people skills\' in being attentive to their clients\' needs, and offered suggestions to help attorneys counsel their clients more effectively. Ms. Laredo has authored numerous articles for New York and New Jersey publications on topics including mediation of divorce, workplace, family and aging parent conflicts and is the author of a quarterly newsletter publication distributed to 4,000 + professionals since 1997. Ms. Laredo was appointed by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board to serve as an arbitrator and render decisions on workers’ compensation claims by workers’ compensation board and New York State Insurance Fund employees since 2002 and has served as an Arbitrator for State of New York Unified Court System 9th Judicial District. She mediates employment disputes for the United States Postal Service, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and is a contract mediator for Keybridge Foundation for the United States Department of Justice. Additionally, Ms. Laredo was appointed as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee Chairperson for the Rockland County Bar Association and has continued to maintain her position since 1995. She was a talk show co-host for Jukebox Radio 103.1 FM, The Conflict Negotiators, and interviewed on LITE FM and WRKL radio regarding conflict resolution.
