Neil
Cahn , Esq.
Neil Cahn has been admitted to practice in New York since 1975 and is a partner in Newman & Cahn, LLP.
The majority of Mr. Cahn\'s practice is concentrated in divorce and other family law matters. However, his experience with the analysis of business values and other financial matters also leads Mr. Cahn to handle the dissolution of commercial entities and other business and family disputes.
Mr. Cahn is a member of the Nassau County Supreme Court Matrimonial Neutral Evaluation Panel; a member of the Family Law Committees of the American, State, and County Bar Associations; and a member of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court and the New York Collaborative Law Group. He has been certified in Family Mediation by the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and the Mediation Institute of New York.
Mr. Cahn is also admitted in the United States District Courts, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. He serves as a court-appointed arbitrator for the United State District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Cahn is a graduate of Yale College and a Law Review graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law. He is a revision author of New York Civil Practice, Matrimonial Actions, published by Matthew Bender, and has written and lectured for various bar associations and professional organizations, as well as other lay groups.
